DID YOU KNOW?
Leaving a bubble or wave in your carpet is not only a safety hazard, but it will also decrease its lifespan? Hiring a professional for your carpet repair needs will ensure that these issues do not go unnoticed.
WHAT CAUSES BUBBLES OR WAVES?
If your carpet is properly installed, you will not have a problem. However, many carpets are not installed properly, in other words the installer did not follow the Carpet and Rug Institute’s installation instructions.
Dragging your furniture across your carpet will also cause bubbles or waves.
Your carpet is meant to be laid properly (flat) on your floor. Walking exhorts a lot of pressure on your carpet. This pressure is amplified when there are bubbles and waves. The additional pressure can cause your carpet to split apart and wear faster. That’s why you should schedule a carpet repair service as soon as you see damage.
OUR CARPET REPAIR SERVICE
We know you want your carpets looking their best. We know you want to walk across your carpet safely and not trip over a bubble, a wave, damaged seam or look at those nasty burn marks.
We inspect the affected carpet to determine the most efficient and effective way to perform the required carpet repair. We communicate the cost, expected length of time required for the carpet repair and expected results before we get started. We use proper carpet repair techniques and equipment to achieve the best carpet repair results possible. Once completed, we offer a lifetime guarantee on your carpet repair.
We will move any furniture out of the work area as part of our carpet repair service.
BUBBLE AND WAVE REPAIR
We will disengage your carpet (release your carpet from the tack strip holding it down). We then use “knee kickers” and/or “power stretchers” to remove bubbles and waves. If the bubble or wave is near a seam, we may have to detach the seam, adjust your carpet to remove bubbles and waves and re-seam your carpet back together.
(DYE SPOTS, BLEACH MARKS, BURN MARKS AND MOTH DAMAGE)
Depending on the type of carpet and the size of the damage, we can re-tuft your carpet.
If the area is large, we may have to patch it. We can repair damage that is almost invisible to the naked eye!
In most cases seams will be invisible to the naked eye and even stronger than they were when the original seam was made.
Lastly, we want to ensure your complete satisfaction and will perform a post-repair inspection with you before we leave. This includes answering any questions you may have about the carpet repair.
